Tee Time: 13:23
Players: Joon, Justin, Soo Young
This is the first time I played a twilight tee time. The course estimated that we would be able to play 17 holes rather than the full 18 but we can try to play as many as we can and we would be charged a prorated rate based on the number of holes played.
I was fine with 17 holes or whatever but my playing group really wanted to try to fit 18 holes in.
So we played somewhat fast but quickly realized that the bottleneck would not be us but it would be the group in front of us. Just our luck, the group in front of us were youtubers so they were taking video of their shots so they were playing slowly. Overall it was ok but for whatever reason, they decided to really take their time on hole 18.
As we tee’d off on 18, our caddie said that we wouldn’t make it because it’s too dark. We decided to try anyway. But because the group in front of us was so slow, we were waiting after our driver, then after our approach, etc. I ended up losing a ball simply because I couldn’t find it near the green. Ugh…anyway, we eventually putted and walked away from hole 18 when it was dark. The interesting thing is that the group behind us was still trying to get that last hole in as well.
Haneul course is separate from the rest of Sky 72 so it has it’s own small clubhouse and locker room. It’s nice though but there are no lights no there is no night golf here.
