Owners is a pretty nice golf club located south of Chuncheon. Although navigation estimated an hour to get there from Seoul, we hit some traffic and ended up taking around an hour and fifteen minutes. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. There are some nice holes into valley, etc.
Overall, I would say that the holes are medium difficulty. The fairways tend to be fairly narrow and the sides are unforgiving with OBs and hazards. But it’s a fun place with some nice scenery. The greens are well maintained but were fairly slow because of the humidity and recent rain.
The clubhouse is clean, restaurant is good and typical of most golf courses in Korea.
Pace of play was ok as I didn’t feel rushed and we kept up with the group in front of us but rarely had to wait.
The shadow house after the front nine is nice and since it’s summer we had watermelon.
Overall, a nice day at the links. As for my personal game, my driver was finally cooperating today! I hit a bunch of fairways and didn’t totally slice very many holes so that was nice to finally see. But of course as luck would have it, my woods, hybrids, and irons were not cooperating today. Oh well…c’est la golf.
