5/8/2022 – La Vie est Belle (Old Course)

Tee Time: 8:01

Players, Iris, Kyle, Sang

La vie est belle is still as popular as ever so getting a tee time is tough. They raised green fees (250k krw) and caddie fees (150k) but I guess the public doesn’t care so it’s still virtually impossible to book. Dunes course has slightly cheaper green fees.

Old course is the prettier of the two in that the clubhouse is of a traditional hanok style and the grass is western grass (so it stays greener into the fall and it’s softer so harder to play).

There was one hole in the middle with some farmland (inaccessible) so I think I lost a ball in there. I didn’t remember that hole from before. My guess is that the land owner simply refused to sell his plot of land to the golf course so he still owns that little plot there, etc.
