Shilla is a nice course that is not too far away from Seoul so it’s convenient. The course itself is fairly typical for a Korean course with a nice layout, decent greens, and fun hazards to maneuver.
One of our players (Hyungoo) was playing really well. He was at +1 for the first half so while taking a break after the front 9, we asked what his lifetime best score is and he said +5 so he was on a good pace to get his lifetime best!
He played pretty well on the back 9 and when we reached hole 18, he realized he was at +3!
Unfortunately he hooked his drive almost OB on hole 18 but luckily it stayed in so he played it. But he ended up double bogey on hole 18 to give him a +5…
