Bear’s Best is a pretty nice public country club located in the Cheongna area of Incheon. It was only a 45 min drive from jamsil so the drive was nice. Of course I left at around 5:15am so there was no traffic.
There are 27 holes including USA, Europe, and Australasia. The concept is that they re-created some of the best holes from around the world in these continents in a single golf course. At each hole there is a description of the hole and which country club it came from. All of the courses were designed by Jack Nicklaus.
We played Australasia and Europe. It seemed that most holes had a lot of bunkers. I guess many of the famous holes around the world are known for tough bunkers.
It was a fun course though with some nice challenging holes. There are also some nice houses surrounding the course (kind of like what you see in the USA). Although there are some hazards and OB areas, it’s fairly wide overall so I didn’t lose many golf balls (which is always nice).
