Played golf with the colonel. Colonel is a cool older guy who is a pretty good golfer. He ended up shooting 11 over.
I had a decent day on the course. My driver was pretty good so that’s always a good day for me. I also lose a lot of balls and only lost 3 this time so that was also great. The first one wasn’t actually lost but it was just an iron shot that I must have shanked or something because I didn’t see where it went so I had no idea where to look Second one fell in the water. Third one was a big hook left that went OB. Oh well.
It’s usually tough to get a tee time but we got lucky. Maybe because it’s still winter it’s ok to get tee times. Once it gets warmer it will get crowded again and we’ll need to wait around on standby, etc.
