Our host Joon actually had an emergency meeting at work so he had to leave early. He played the front 9 with us and then headed back to the airport. The rest of us finished up the back 9.
Overall another great round since we knew the course from yesterday.
Since Joon was leaving we were playing some more aggressive Korean gambling games. These aggressive games usually end with a “winner take all” type of situation for hole 18 and in this case I was the big winner with a bogey on 18!
Of course in Korea you don’t just take all the money….you win and then divide up money to everyone afterwards….I always think that’s kind of weird but oh well.
Hole 9 of the West course is the signature hole and it’s beautiful. Since the course is on jeju island there is a good mixture of jeju rocks and beautiful scenery everywhere.
