This was my second time playing at this golf course. The course used to be called Danang BRG but they changed the name to Legend Danang. There are 2 courses here – Nicklaus and Norman. Last time, we played the Nicklaus course and I really liked it so we played the same course again.
It’s not an easy course because there are many water hazards (ponds, rivers, etc.) so it’s good to bring plenty of golf balls.
We were paired up with 2 single players. Tommy was a guy visiting from Hong Kong and he was a pretty decent golfer and overall cool guy. The other guy was a random Korean guy who was friendly enough but had some problems with accuracy (his drives were going all over the place).
Unfortunately, the greens were absolutely terrible though. Bald patches, dead grass, etc. Sometimes on a putt you will see your ball bounce up and down as it heads towards the hole, etc.
I played well overall and my drives stayed in bounds so that was nice. I didn’t lose a ball for the first 6 holes or so and that was great. I did end up losing a few balls after that though and had a few bad holes in the back half so ended up losing around 7 balls in total. Oh well, it was still a great day out on the course!
