Tom is a friend visiting from the US who is on a quest to play the top 100 golf courses in the world. It’s a pretty cool quest and one that only a few people have successfully done because not only do you need to travel the world but also because you need to gain access to some of the most exclusive courses in the world.
Of course there are the famous courses such as Augusta National (which he said that the played 6 times) but the most difficult course to get into was a really exclusive golf course in France where he really had to pull a bunch of favors, etc.
In any case, there are 3 courses in Korea including Anyang CC, Nine Bridges CC, and Haesley CC. In this trip, he was able to successfully secure Anyang (via me) and Nine Bridges (he was introduced to a member there). He was not successful for Haesley so he will be back someday.
In any case, we played a fun round at Anyang and Tom enjoyed it. Jin was also playing Anyang for the first time so he enjoyed it as well.
I played ok overall. not bad but not great but I was satisfied enough with my play.
