This was my first time playing Oak Creek in Irvine, CA. It’s a nice course and well maintained. Cost was $190 per player and included cart. My friend is a member there so we got a slight discount. He paid $140 I think.
Unfortunately, I was told that they are planning to get rid of the golf course in order to build houses. Such a shame to shut down such a nice course but I guess there is still a big housing shortage in the area.
Pace of play was nice and we finished the round in slightly over 4 hours. There is a bag drop guy who will take your bag and load it for you onto a cart. I tipped him $5 and he was appreciative.
Drink cart girl was friendly as well. We got a couple of beers from her.
