This was a fun round playing with Alex for the first time. Alex is a baseball player and scout for MLB so I knew he would be a long hitter and he was. He really blasted the driver out there! He played really well and had his personal record! He is a relatively new golfer and said that his PR was 92 but he shot an 88 including 3 birdies!
My game was decent…driver was in bounds and solid overall so I was happy. My putting was terrible though. I think I’m going to go back to my old LAB putter and see how it goes.
Bears Best also has a really nice pro shop with some nice clothing and gear from top brands such as Travis Mathews, G Fore, IJP, etc. They also have an interesting hand recovery massager type thing that sends electrical pulses through your arms to your forearms. Not sure if it’s really very effective though and I didn’t really like the feeling of electrical shocks going through my arms.
We had a nice meal of jeju pork afterwards at a local restaurant. It was really good!
