8/30/2025 – Bears Best (USA + Australasia)

Tee Time: 13:58

Players: Minsung, Jihoon, Charles

It was pretty warm but not as bad as the past few weeks. Maybe the weather is going to turn soon and finally get a little cooler in Korea!

The drive to the golf course took a little longer than usual because of traffic but wasn’t too bad. The clubhouse locker room and restaurant are a little old but overall the clubhouse is in decent condition. The course itself is nice and in great condition. It’s mostly flat with nice and wide fairways so it’s a good course for beginners.

There is also a big driving range and I believe you can pay for a small bucket of balls to warm up before your round.

I changed my putting stance last week towards the end of my round at The Crosby. I try to keep my back more straight (rather than hunched over) and I tuck my elbows in closer to my body. I’m also looking right over the top of the ball. This seems to help with direction much more. As for the stroke, I pull back slowly and then accelerate when I hit the ball. This seems to help as well and my putting was much better!

Overall I played pretty well. My driver distance is lacking though so I’ll probably do a little bit of work this week in keeping accuracy but increasing driver distance.
