We had a fun evening round at The Crosby again. It was pretty crowded this time though so we were not able to get out early. The lights turned on at around hole 3 so we were playing under lights for most of the round.
I have been trying out a new driver swing and it didn’t work so I went back to my old swing. At one point I decided to try to hit a draw. I wasn’t able to draw the ball but it went dead straight! So I did the same swing again and it worked again! Maybe I’ll experiment with hitting draws in the future.
Putting was not very good because the greens were being aerated.
We were a foursome and almost everyone else is a twosome but we played relatively quickly and stayed at pace with the group in front of us. In fact, we were waiting around to tee off on most holes because the course was backed up a bit.
We ate afterwards at a Korean restaurant which was really good but had to rush to get there in time for their last order at 8:30pm! I really need to book earlier tee times in the future. 17:01 I believe is the first tee time in the evening so I’ll try to get as close to that as possible. Since I played Billie last time and Charlotte this time, it will be Aria next time!
