Had a fun round at Sagewood! Traffic was terrible in the morning though and what is normally a 1 hour 20 minute drive turned into a 2.5 hour drive! For Hyungoo who lives a little more west from me (golf course is in the mountains east of Seoul), it took him 3.5 hours!
The round itself was fun though. Sagewood is not an easy course but the course is nice and beautiful. I like playing no caddie rounds because we can take mulligans, etc.
It got a bit chilly towards the end of the round and the last 2 holes or so were played under lights. Lights weren’t great though so I would not recommend getting a late tee time here.
Afterwards, we had dinner near the freeway at my favorite shrimp dough soup place (민물새우 수제비) and it was great as usual!
I played ok but driver wasn’t as good as it was the previous week. That’s golf though…the moment you think you’ve got something figured out…it backfires to make you humble again.
