The weather is starting to get colder and it was pretty cold at around 7am before the round. Anyang has a nice practice range where you can hit some balls before your round so I went there to hit balls for 20 minutes. It was nice and I was hitting balls ok.
When the round started, my driver was acting up though. I recently went back to my old Autoflex shaft and I wasn’t able to make good contact at all. It was kind of weird because I was fine at the range but just didn’t translate onto the course.
After the turn I went back to my old shaft and driver came back to life and was consistent again. It was nice to get that turnaround in the second half. I’m going to shelve the Autoflex for now.
At the start it was cold enough that you can see your breath when you breathe but after a few holes, it was nice and sunny. The weather was really nice for the rest of the day.
