This was my first time playing at this course and the course itself wasn’t bad. The fairways were a little narrow but not too crazy difficult.
Yongin is not too far from Seoul but this course is at the southern part of Yongin so not too far from Ansung actually. In addition, there was some major construction going on for SK Hynix so the roads were really backed up so I ended up getting off at the next exit off the freeway anyway and then drove back around to the course.
The pro shop is decent with a lot of higher end merchandise from brands popular amongst Koreans such as malbon, craig and karl, etc.
I played ok but was hooking the ball quite a bit. I was hitting draws I guess since it wasn’t a bad hook so the ball would typically stay in bounds but rather than starting right and drawing to the middle, I was starting middle and drawing left. I made a few adjustments and played better in the second half though.
We had dinner at a local duck bbq restaurant that I had been to many years ago. It’s run down but it’s good. There are no decent restaurants in the immediate vicinity so we drove about 15 min or so away.
