Tee Time: 12:03
Players: Kyle, Hank, Jayden
We were the last tee time of the day. There was a big snow storm a few days ago and they did their best to clear out the snow but there was still a lot of snow on the ground. The weather was nice though although it was overcast and dark for most of the day.
Pace of play was terrible though and we were waiting at every hole. It took us about 2.5 hours to get through the front 9.
Because of the poor conditions and pace of play, the course was comping every free cart fees. I actually received a text message during the week saying that they would discount cart fees 50% because of the snow conditions on the course but when I checked in, they told me that they would discount cart fees 100%!
At hole 9, our caddie told us that the back 9 is also backed up and we would likely finish playing pretty late. She said that we could play the front 9 over again if we’d like to get through much faster.
We actually decided to just call it a day after the front 9 and pay for 9 holes and leave it at that. It was fun though and the group enjoyed their first Cascadia experience!
Since it’s winter, the water falls are all turned off. It’s best to play Cascadia in nicer weather.
