This was a fun round but play was really slow. Hansung is notorious for trying to maximize profits so they pack the tee times in. We started at 12:20 but pretty much every hole in the front 9 was backed up. It took about 3 hours to get through the front 9 which was ridiculous but oh well.
I was playing well so I didn’t really complain that much. My driver was solid pretty much all day so that was great.
We had some good udon before the round at a local restaurant and raced back up to Seoul to have a nice omakase dinner after the round. We were late for dinner though because the round took a long time to play (about 5.5 hours!)
The course is nice though with fairly wide fairways and it’s close to Seoul. It would be nice if CastleX were this nice but oh well.
