This was a fun round with 3 women. It’s not necessarily ideal to be the only guy in a foursome since I need to hit off the white tees first and then the 3 women proceed to the red tees. Since I’m always first, I sort of help set the tone for the hole so if my drive is bad, then it’s not a great start but oh well.
I played ok. My driver wasn’t as good as it was in recent weeks but still better than it was last year so that’s good.
The course itself is nice and most of the fairways are wide and forgiving. The pace of play is usually pretty fast and there is usually not much of a break after the front 9 but just our luck, we were kind of stuck behind a slow group and there was about a 20 min wait after the front 9. And of course this was a day when I had to be back for a dinner at 6pm.
New Springville is a private course so you need to know a member to play there. One of the players is a member so we got a decent tee time.
We finished up at around 4:30 and drove back. There was traffic so I ended up getting to the dinner location at around 6:10pm but it was ok since I wasn’t too late.
