Fun round and I played well overall! My driver was missing left a little bit so that was slightly annoying but at least the ball stayed in play. I tried a different driver swing that I have been playing with and it was ok the first time (fade) but it sliced the second time and I lost a ball (the only ball I lost all day!)
88cc is an older course that opened in…1988! There are a lot of businesses in Korea with “88” in it because that was the year that Seoul hosted the 1988 summer olympic games. I was living in Korea at the time and it was a huge turning point for the country.
The clubhouse is renovated so it’s nice. The course itself is also nice with mostly wide fairways. We didn’t eat at the restaurant though so I don’t know if the food is any good. There is a smaller restaurant at the turn and it looked really busy.
Caddie started out a little grumpy but she seemed to get a little more relaxed as time went on. She probably realized that we play fast so she let her guard down a bit. At the beginner she did seem to rush us a lot.
88cc is a private country club so you need to know a member or have some type of general membership (Pacific Links, etc.).
