This was a fun round. Pocheon Hillmaru is nice because they allow 3 person teams. With 2 last minute cancellations, it was tough but I was able to convince Mitch to come out for a round. I think for some of these rounds that I organize and players are people I don’t really know very well, I’ll need to implement a policy of prepayment. At least the 2 guys who cancelled were cool about paying their share of their cart and caddie fees.
It was nice in that we actually got a female caddie this time. Most of the caddies were female at this time of day so maybe it’s just the afternoon tee times that are all male caddies.
The 2 signature courses are my favorites but they are not easy. There are a lot of undulations but the courses are a lot of fun. Last weekend when I played Breeze and sunrise, they just weren’t as nice.
I played ok so I was happy overall but driver is a little inconsistent so still working through that.
But the combination of it being relatively easy to get tee times + close to Seoul + low cost + 3 person play, I plan to keep pocheon hillmaru in my rotation!
