This was my first round playing with this group this year. We usually play a few times per year but a business trip cancelled our last round a few months ago.
The tee time wasn’t great since it was an afternoon tee time but it was all Youngjune was able to get as a member.
I played really well. My driver was on point and very consistent! I wasn’t that great with driver for the first few holes so I modified my swing to use a shorter backswing. My goal was basically to just hit the ball into play and not focus too much on distance. Of course since I did this, I was getting massive distance and driving the ball further than I ever have on the course! I was consistently the long driver for most holes.
Hopefully I can keep this up.
After the round we went to a local Korean restaurant (세연가) which is pretty much my go-to place when I play Gapyeong these days.
