Han Sung is not a bad course. This was my 3rd time playing this course. The best thing that Han Sung has going for it is that it’s relatively close to Seoul. It’s in Yongin where many golf courses are located but Han Sung is really close to the main part of Yongin where there are many apartment complexes, Costco, etc. It’s not at the outskirts of Yongin which can still be slightly far from Seoul.
So Han Sung is really popular among my co-workers as well and it’s pretty common to see other people from my company here.
It’s a private club so it’s tough to get a tee time but like many Korean country clubs they are open to the public for excess inventory.
One of my co-workers (Eunyoung) got the reservation. She said that she has a contact that works there so she got the reservation. Supposedly our company plays here so much that they let us book even though we aren’t members as long as we agree to eat at the restaurant before and after our round (which is fine with me).
But it is a little overpriced and there are better golf courses in Korea. It’s just that it’s tough to beat the location and that goes a long way.
