Tee Time: 12:00
Players: Dave, Young
Cascadia never fails to impress. This was the first time for Dave and Young and both were very impressed with the clubhouse, cart, course, etc.
We had a really nice caddie named 성다현 (?). The course was pretty empty because it had rained the day before and it was drizzling for much of the day. The rain wasn’t bad and you didn’t need an umbrella or rain gear. Since the course was so empty and we only had a 3-some, she let us take as many mulligans as we wanted. In fact, she encouraged it telling us to take another driver shot to practice. She was also very good at finding balls so she must have found 15 balls throughout the day and she kept handing them over to us to use now and the future, etc. I hope I run into her again someday.
The course itself was nicer than before. The grass is grown out so there are not many bare patches anymore. The trees are starting to grow out a bit as well so more leaves, etc.
They are still fiddling with the course though as a few par 4s were being turned into par 5s, etc.
One guy in our group was unable to make it and the course was nice enough to let us play 3 players without any penalties or extra charges.
As usual, service was top notch and perfect. For lunch before the round, I had their hamburger. It wasn’t bad but…it wasn’t good either. Oh well, better to just stick with the Korean food.
