This round was with Jy and the Lee sisters (Soohyun and her older sister Soohee). I’ve been playing Ansung Benest more often after retirement but rather than the member courses (North + West), I’ve been playing the non member courses (South + East) more often. I’m not really the biggest fan of south/east but after playing them multiple times, they aren’t bad. There are a few blind holes that I don’t like and some of the tee boxes are on mats which is crappy but oh well. The fairways are in good condition and the greens are kept up really well so that’s good.
This was a last minute booking so the green fees were pretty cheap (140k krw!).
I played ok overall but my irons were inconsistent as is the case these days. Putting was also not so good.
After the round we went to eat barley rice nearby. Soohyun wanted chicken soup but her sister didn’t want that so they went back and forth and eventually the older sister won out.
