What a fun group of friends for golf! My friends were visiting from Singapore so we had to play a round together. Bears Best is always a lot of fun and the course is great but it’s western grass so not always easy to hit irons off the fairways, etc. You really need to hit down and make a divot rather than sweep.
I started out really solid with my driver. It was probably one of the best driver days I have every had. The front 9 was especially strong for me and just consistently striping the ball down the center of the fairway. It really was amazing and fun.
The back 9 wasn’t as good for me and I hooked a few drives, etc. I tried my other shortened driver swing and started pushing the ball as well so that was kind of odd.
Ryan and Kanny had a bet going so they were playing pretty seriously but Phillip and I were just loose and having fun!
