This is a new resort that just opened a few months ago. The facilities are nice and new and clean. It was very nice and impressive….just my style!
The course is difficult though. The fairways are narrow and there are many blind holes where you can’t see the green when you drive off the tee.
The first few holes go around a beautiful lake. It’s great looking but I hit a few balls into the lake so oh well. The lake was frozen though so it was interesting seeing golf balls on the ice. I hit one that skipped over the ice and made it to the other side so that was kind of cool!
As a grand opening promotion, they were giving away a Mercedes Benz if you get a hole in one on one of their par 3s. The caddie said that someone recently won the car though so oh well…I didn’t get a hole in one anyway.
