Tee Time: 12:14pm
Players: Kate, Ho, Jae
Courses: Green, Blue
Han Sung is a favorite amongst my co-workers so it was time for another round at this course. There are 3 courses here (each are 9 hole) of orange, blue, and green. We played green and then blue.
Due to covid, Kate set up meals in a private room in the restaurant so that was nice. We had a quick lunch before heading out for our round. We also ate in the same room after our round for dinner. The room is nice but the rooms are set up in the back of the restaurant so you have to walk the length of the restaurant to get back there. It’s not so good if you’re trying to stay stealth since others in the restaurant will see you (which is what happened to me).
Personally, my play was terrible today. I’ve been fighting a case of tendonitis for the past 2 months and it got worse over the past few weeks so I finally went to a doctor 10 days ago. The doctor gave me some treatment (laser, ultrasound, cold therapy, suction, etc.) as well as some prescription drugs (anti-inflammatories, etc.) and it kind of helped but part of his treatment plan is for me to stay away from golf for awhile. So I haven’t been practicing at all. I still went out onto the field though this week and last week so I haven’t been 100% away from my clubs.
I was slicing my driver a lot but when I let off on my swing a bit it seemed to help.
The weather was great. We were having dinner at 6 and it was really bright out so it looks like the sun doesn’t set until 7 or 7:30 or so which is great. I think I’ll start transitioning more to early morning golf though since it’s not so cold anymore.
