This course was much better than expected. We booked last minute so I thought it might be a little more run down but it’s a pretty new course with a nice clubhouse. Everything looks pretty modern and new but there are some touches of history here and I liked that.
The clubhouse is much more like an upscale hotel lobby than a golf country club (many Korean places are like that actually).
There are 3 nine hole courses so for 18 holes you play 2 courses. The courses are Shine, Dale, and Lake. We played Shine and Lake.
The course itself is a lot of fun with nice undulations, big greens (tough to read), etc. It was really foggy at the start so we couldn’t see much for the first 3 holes. They did put the lights out so you can aim for the lights. Maybe it’s because of the moisture in the air but the greens were crazy slow. Our caddie said they were at 2.0….which is almost like trying to put in sand…lol.
I started out with a few slices. Golf has a way of humbling you after a nice day with the driver yesterday. I made some adjustments and hit well for a few holes so I thought I kind of got it. And then my driver fell apart again and I was hooking like crazy. I think I adjusted too far but was too scared to slice that I kept hooking. I need to head out to the range this week and work on this a bit.
At least I have some adjustments that I can make to change this a bit though so that’s good.
