This was my favorite round of the trip! I was able to play with a co-worker and 2 close buddies from college and grad school. We had an absolute blast playing this round.
We were the first tee time out so we had nobody in front of us. We would have taken our time a little more but the group behind us was playing pretty fast. We ended up finishing the round in 4 hours. The marshall stopped by a few times and said we were about 1 hole or so ahead of pace so he was cool with us slowing things down a little bit as well.
The course is absolutely beautiful. It is well kept and there are ocean views for most of the course.
There is some fog sometimes but we got lucky and it was a clear day. There is a nice Ritz Carlton located just next to the clubhouse so it’s a convenient place to stay before and/or after your round. In fact, I got a great room overlooking hole 18!
This was definitely my favorite round of the trip and I will be back!
