4/23/2022 – Korea Public

Tee Time: 4:25pm

Players, Phillip, YS, Jy

This was my first time playing at Korean public. From looking at the website, it looked like a no frills type of place and it is. There is no restaurant (at least from what I can tell) but there is a small convenience store if you want to get a snack.

This is a 9 hole course and it’s cheap for Korea standards. It was only around 70k per person for green fees and cart. Caddie was another 64k but they are raising this to 70k for the foursome for the caddie.

It’s short. I think the par 4s are under 300m and the par 5s are like 350m or so. Most of the tee boxes are on mats and the white and red tees are usually together.

The holes are close to each other so there are nets out to try to protect you from a ball hit your way from the next fairway over.

It’s beginner friendly as well.

Starting 6pm, there is no caddie so that’s nice and it’s really popular. You walk around on a push cart that you need to rent for 7k. You cannot bring your own push cart.

There is a bit of waiting around (especially on the par 3s) but overall it’s a decent no-frills type of course for the money.
