Jisan is a nice ski and golf resort located about an hour away from Seoul. It’s in the mountains like most golf courses in Korea but is an upscale country club with a nice clubhouse and beautiful greens. There are some nice water hazards, waterfalls, etc.
There is a driving range as well as a public course as well. South, West, and East are all member courses.
We played South and West courses and they were a nice mix of challenging undulations with decent distance (not too long but not too short either).
The clubhouse is of normal size as is the restaurant but it was pretty crowded for some reason when we had breakfast. Our tee time was likely one of the latest for the first set of morning times so we probably just got the bulk of the morning rush.
Weather was cloudy and hot and humid but nice overall since it didn’t rain.
As for play, I was struggling with my driver most of the day but oh well…I had fun nonetheless.
Although this was my first time playing this resort, I also happen to have a tee time tomorrow here as well.
