6/10/2023 – Torrey Pines (South)

Tee Time: 5:50am

Players: Ben, Julie, Jy

Wow this was an early tee time. We had to leave LA at around 3:45am to get to Torrey Pines by around 5:10am. We checked in at the pro shop and shopped a little bit and then immediately went out to the first tee to tee off!

I played the north course a few times but wanted to try south. The non-resident green fee price for south is $278 so it’s expensive! I also got a cart fpr $45 (per cart) so that was an additional cost as well.

North is a little more difficult and longer than south but it was a lot of fun.

Ben is a San Diego resident so he pays resident rates (around $80?) and he was able to make the reservation for us.

I am not sure if I would go back at this price. I will probably just pay north again in the future or check out some of the other golf courses in the San Diego area.

The pro shop was nice and I bought a fleece sweatshirt for around $50 and a nice Torrey Pines Travis Mathew hat for around $45.

I played really well so I was happy. My driver was pretty good and solid. Overall a great day at the course!
