8/12/2023 – Ansung Benest (North + West)

Tee Time: 7:26

Players: Scott, Luke, Jongduk

After a long heat wave that lasted about 1.5 months, there was a typhoon last week so it brought a lot of wind and rain. The course was a little wet but the temperatures were nice and cool for the most part. Overall, it was a wonderful day on the course.

My driver impact was a little odd for the first half. I’m not sure where I was hitting the ball but maybe it was hitting a little too inside or something because it was going into the fairway but contact just sounded bad. The second half was better although I sliced a few here and there. Oh well, I guess that’s just golf.

It was raining pretty hard on the drive over there so I was a little nervous that we might get rained out. As luck would have it…it stopped raining about an hour before our tee time and then started drizzling when we were putting out on hole 17. It drizzled on hole 18. It then started to rain as we finished up.

I did get one birdie though so that kind of makes up for a below average round!
