8/13/2023 – La Vie est Belle (Old Course)

Tee Time: 7:03

Players: James, Dave, Andy

This was a fun round with friends (although James is a co-worker, he’s kind of like a friend). It was my first time playing with Andy and he has a decent game.

This course is tough to book but I got lucky a few weeks ago. In general, Sunday is easier to book since traffic going back to Seoul is pretty bad in the afternoon. I think grabbing an early tee time and then heading back to Seoul right after the round is a good idea. We had lunch near Seoul.

With an early tee time, I got up at 4:15 and left the house at 4:50. We were a little early and got there at around 5:45 but I generally like being early rather than late.

My play was inconsistent. I had a few bad blowup holes and no birdies and only a few pars. Oh well. Had fun though and the weather was great! It got a little humid towards the end but can’t complain overall.
