9/17/2023 – Sagewood (Dream + Vision)

Tee Time: 8:42am

Players: Dave, Minchul

This was another great round at Sagewood. Since we play no caddie and the course is usually pretty empty, it was a good opportunity for me to experiment a little bit with my driver and try a few things out there on the course. It was a lot of fun although I didn’t really play that well.

At one point there was a team behind us but then I noticed that after they hit their drives, they all got out and started maintaining the fairway (filling in divots, etc.). So I guess they were actually caddies working there today and figured while they work they may as well play some golf too. What surprised me a little bit was that they even putted all the way through even though they were working.

They were behind us for a couple of holes and then they left and went somewhere else.

There was a team ahead of us so we stayed pretty close to them but we weren’t playing fast. We were experimenting a bit so it was common to hit 2 or 3 drives, etc.

I really like this course although it’s a bit expensive. But since we can play no caddie, I like dialing in my swing, etc.

The weather was great but the sun did come out towards the second half so my legs got a little burned.
