3/28/2024 – Mone Vale (Sydney, Australia)

Tee Time: 12:37

Players: Jy

I book a tee time at Mone Vale about 2 weeks prior. I was able to pay online and the total cost was $195 AUS for 2 players (including cart).

It was a bit of a drive to get up there so uber was around $75 each way.

The course was really nice. There are some distant ocean views from the clubhouse area and a few tee boxes but there aren’t any holes actually played along the coast.

Since it is a bit of a drive from downtown Sydney and it was a weekday it was not too crowded. We were able to play as a twosome. We had a twosome in front of us and we had a single player behind us.

Pace of play was ok. The single behind us was a little fast and I think that pushed us a little bit so we were waiting a bit for the group in front of us as well.

Staff is friendly (especially one of the groundskeepers named Jake – cool guy!). The clubhouse is under construction so they had a small tent where you can hang out and a truck for tacos, etc.

It rained a little bit during the day but was mostly unnoticeable until we got to hole 15 where it started to rain heavily. We considered calling it a day but played through holes 15 and 16 and then the rain stopped. The single player behind us called it a day.
