5/26/2024 – Crystal Valley (Crystal + Valley Courses)

Tee Time: 8:40

Players: June, James, Jongseo

I played here last month so I was somewhat familiar with the course. I had a lot of fun on this beautiful course last time so I was looking forward to playing again.

We had a guy caddie this time and he was pretty good. He said that he’s a single handicap and while he mostly kept his golf advice to himself, he did give a few pointers here and there which was nice.

I started out mediocre and then my driver went to crap. But after the turn, my driver improved and I ended up hitting 3 awesome drives so that was nice. I need to remember to keep my right shoulder back (especially at address – maybe I should push it back a little similar to what Lydia Ko does in her pre-shot routine) and remember to follow through after swinging.

Last time there were a lot of older people here but it wasn’t like that this time so that was interesting as well. Probably just sampling error.
