August 15 is a public holiday and is independence day in Korea…and India! Korea gained independence from Japan in 1945 and India gained independence from Great Britain/England in 1947.
In order to commemorate this day, I set up a golf outing with 2 Indian friends. So it was a fun outing with 2 Indians and 2 Koreans.
Shamik is a great golfer. He said that he wanted to work in the golf industry and wanted to get his pro card, etc. and worked towards it for awhile. He’s a good single handicap golfer.
Kunal is pretty good too. Great distance off driver and overall solid.
It was a really fun round and weather wasn’t too bad. It was hot and humid but cloudy so it was nice.
I’m playing well overall with some good driver swings. I did have a few holes towards the end when my driver started slicing again but was good overall so I’m happy.
