8/18/2024 – Cascadia (Water + Stone)

Tee Time: 8:01

Players: Gerald, David, Sieun

Fun round playing with my friend Gerald for the first time. David brought his friend Sieun who really likes golf so it was fun to see her enthusiasm.

The course conditions weren’t very good though. The caddie said that it’s because of the hot weather…a lot of dry patches of grass. There were also section of grass cut out for replacement, etc. The fairways had a lot of weeds as well. The greens were bumpy and blotchy, etc. I have never see Cascadia in such poor condition.

Water course was in poor condition but stone was a little better.

I played well again overall. The fairways are narrow though so lost a few balls in some of the earlier holes just missing right or left. I even drew the ball a few times which is pretty rare for me but ball would start in the middle and draw left and went OB, etc. Driver did settle down well though towards the end.

I even got a birdie! It has been awhile since I got a birdie so it was nice to finally get one after such a long dry spell.
