10/9/2024 – Solmoro (Maple + Pine)

Tee Time: 12:12

Players: Jy, Yj, Sh

Fun round at a nice course! Solmoro is an older golf course in the yeoju region near Jayoo CC and Trinitiy. The clubhouse is a little older and less modern but it’s clean and has been kept up well. The course itself was also in good condition with nice tee boxes, fairways, and greens.

The greens were pretty slow though (2.6) so many of my putts were coming up short. There also wasn’t as much break as expected so putting was a little tough. I had way too many 2 and 3 putts.

My driver was ok…not terrible but not great. I didn’t lose too many balls off the tee so that was nice though. I was missing a bit left which is odd for me since I usually slice and fade. I guess I was starting left and then fading to the middle so that was ok. Or I was starting further left but then fading to the left side of the fairway which is still ok.

After the round we went to a nice duck bbq restaurant. It was really good but I like duck meat a lot!
