This was a fun round and for me it was great redemption of a terrible round that I had here last month. Last month I simply couldn’t even make contact really with my driver (let alone hitting slices, etc.). It was so frustrating that day and I just hit my hybrid after awhile.
But this time I was hitting well overall. I’ve been working on shortening my backswing for more consistency and it has been working! I don’t really lose distance either so that’s great.
I had only played Creek Course until this year but it was nice to play Bear for 2 rounds this year. I think I like Creek Course more though but the caddie did say that Creek is considered to be much more difficult.
We had dinner at the local beef rib place that I like.
