Played golf with a newbie and a couple of other folks for networking purposes. It was a little wet in that the fairways and greens were logged a bit with water and bunkers had some pools of water but it was still fun overall.
Club 72 had a big fire last week in one of their storage areas and had like 70+ golf carts get burned. But maybe it was an old storage area because they had carts and it was fine. I also was afraid that they might shut down due to snow but I gave them a call on Friday and they said that they didn’t expect to close so we were good.
We played right through the front and back 9 (so no resting period) and finished the round in slightly over 4 hours so that was nice.
I started out hooking/drawing a bit with my driver so I made a few adjustments but then started pushing drives a little to the right (not slicing though so that was good). I hit a few good drives that I was happy with but I suppose since the other drives were still in play that was good enough.
Since we had one newbie we were showing her around a bit. She played well though for the first time out on a golf course…driver was tough but otherwise mostly hit the ball straight enough to keep things moving.
We had a pretty nice and understanding caddie so that was nice as well. We made sure to play fast and keep up with the group in front of us and we tipped her at times so she was happy.
It was a bit chilly but not too bad. Snow here and there but fairways were pretty clear overall (better than yesterday at Lee & Lee).
We had russian food in Incheon after the round. Fun experience!
Next weekend is my last golf weekend of the year so hopefully the weather will stay ok!
