What a round. This was the best round of my life…my lifetime best. I was really hitting the ball well. I was either getting onto the green in regulation (so putting for birdie) or getting on in regulation +1 and 2 putting for bogey. In fact I was a pretty solid par / bogey golfer for most of the day until hole 15 when I got my first double bogey. I ended up with an 86 which is by far my best score ever. I even had 1 birdie on a par 5. I got on in 3 and then 1 putt for birdie!
I was primarily using my long beach swing though so I’m still working on my swing to be more wide and stretching out my arms much more on the backswing and especially the follow through.
The other players are really good though. Joon is a solid golfer and single handicap and both Justin and Steven are solid low single digit / scratch golfers. Steven ended up at +3 for a 75 for the day and Justin ended up 78 with a critical birdie on hole 18 to win all the money (조폭 gangster style)!
Overall just a great round with solid play from everyone including me!
