This was a fun round! The weather is finally getting better so it was not crazy hot like the last few weeks. In fact, it was actually slightly chilling at the start because the sun was out out (cloudy weather). But after around hole 4 or so, the sun came out and it got hot. It was still a bit humid though.
My driver was ok but I did slice it once on hole 10. I wasn’t happy with my driver on the front 9 although it did stay in play and wasn’t terrible. I went to my new driver swing starting at around hole 12 and it went well. I’m not comfortable with it but the results were great and I was really hitting it long and straight. I just need to practice it a lot more to get comfortable with it!
My putting is still not good and I had a lot of 3 putts so need to work on that. I went back to my LAB putter but I don’t really think it is helping much. Maybe I’ll spend some time in putting practice this week.
After our round, we went to my favorite chicken bbq place which was great!
