8/24/2025 – The Crosby (Billie)

Tee Time: 17:32

Players: Jin, Hanna, Jy

This was a fun 9 hole evening round at the Crosby. It was pretty much Hanna’s first time out on a real full course (she had played some par 3 before) so it was fun taking a new player out for the day. She did well and most importantly, she had a lot of fun!

I played well overall without too many balls going OB. I duck hooked one drive which was annoying but other than that, my drives were decent.

There was one hole right up against the sun. As soon as I hit my drive it felt really good but I totally lost it in the sun. I was hoping I would find my ball in the middle of the fairway somewhere but no…oh well.

We were the last team out there. We played at a decent pace finishing the 9 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes. The light turned on for hole 8 and 9 and the shut off the lights as soon as we putted out on hole 9.

I can’t really tell the difference between their 3 courses – Aria, Billie, and Charlotte but Billie seemed pretty short overall and some of the holes were a little smelly (like manure).

After the round, we had dinner at the steamed seafood restaurant nearby. It closes at 9pm so we had to get there quickly to get there in time for the last order at 8:30pm.
