Play Golf in Korea

2/20/2026 – Bangkok Country Club

Tee Time: 6:40am

Players: Jingyeom, 2 others

I went to a golf camp in Thailand. This came was through Kim Hyung Geun golf school in Korea. I went to a local golf camp in Korea run by this school a few years ago during covid. But every year they run a Thailand golf school during the winter. The school is very well run and price is reasonable so I have been meaning to try out this golf camp for the past few years but just didn’t have the time to do it.

I went to the camp for 3 days (2/20, 2/23, and 2/24). The camp starts with playing an 18 hole round with your teaching pro in the morning and then after lunch and a short break, you go through a short game lesson and driving range session in the afternoon with your pro.

This was day 1 of the camp for me and I started out great. I got a par on the first hole. My driver was good too. But I’m here to learn so I was ok with trying out some new things that my instructor was telling me to do, etc.

The course itself is relatively easy and beginner friendly. Fairways are relatively wide and there aren’t too many water hazards and things like that. Maintenance is good and like most of Thailand, the caddies are nice and friendly. I had the same caddie for my 2 rounds here and she was really nice always giving me fruit to eat and water to drink, etc.

The course also has a nice putting green, bunker practice area, and short game practice area around the green. It’s a great place to get some good practice in as well as play a fun round!

I stayed at the hotel on the course and while it wasn’t bad, I would rate it as a 3 star hotel. The a/c was loud, doors didn’t close properly, etc. It is convenient though and there is a small shopping center near the hotel where they will take you there for free via golf cart whenever you want to go.

The spa is nice and not too expensive. The restaurant is ok as well.
