This was a fun round with some other dads from my kids’ school. I played golf with Ed once last year and he was a beginner but good enough. This was my first round with John and Pete and both were solid players.
Ed started by not using his driver and using his hybrid instead off the tee. He eventually moved onto his driver though and played well overall.
John was solid from the get go and is a strong golfer. He is steady and concentrates on each swing so his form is good.
Pete started out a little wild off the tee but got consistent and was really crushing his driver.
I played ok but my distance was short compared to Pete and John. I was relatively solid though and kept within bounds, etc.
Iron play is still a bit inconsistent for me though so not sure why. I made some driver changes these days and maybe those changes are not so good for irons.
Shinwon is a nice private country club. Both David and Solomon courses were fun and greens were fast. The clubhouse was nice and facilities were nice. Caddie was good as well.
I ran into some co-workers in the clubhouse at the turn so it was fun saying hello. I hope to be back sometime.
